Marina Family Medical is a mixed billing practice.
 
The following fees are for both face to face and telehealth appointments.
 
  • Standard Consult $88.00, rebate $41.40
  • Standard Consultation with Healthcare Concession Card (one medical issue) $60.00 with a Medicare Rebate $39.75
  • Long Consult $140.00, rebate $80.10
  • Long Consultation with Healthcare Card  (two medical issues) $96.00 with a Medicare rebate $75.75
  • Prolonged Consult $200.00, rebate  $118.00
  • Healthcare $98.00 with a medical rebate of $76.95

For your convenience Medicare rebates are processed online at the time of consultation and the rebate paid back into your nominated bank account linked to Medicare.

We bulk bill for Veterans, Pensioners and children 15 years and under.

Please bring Photo ID, Medicare card & any concession card to your appointment.

Health care card holder charged at a reduced fee.

Services which are generally Bulk billed are:

  • Chronic Disease management Plans
  • Mental Health Care Plans and Care Plan reviews
  • Childhood Immunisations
  • Annual health assessments (75 years and older)
  • Annual Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Checks for all ages
  • 45–49-year-old health checks for patients at risk of chronic disease.

Extenuating Circumstances

If you are experiencing extenuating financial circumstances, please speak to your treatment general practitioner or the Practice Manager.

Travel Vaccinations

  • Prices vary from $50 – $180 depending on individual requirements

Skin Cancer Surgery

  • Prices vary from $200 – $460 with Medicare rebates available for eligible patients

For your convenience, Medicare rebates are claimable from our office on the day of your consultation through our EFTPOS terminal and can be paid into either a cheque or savings account.
